Is it possible to get just some parameters, e.g Voltage and current from a smart meter without using getAssociationView, I notice that this function gets some values, puts them in a text file and then reads the values required by user.
Is it always necessary to write the values into a text file and then read them.
Is there a function to read some values but not from that text file but get those values directly from the function.

If you know what objects your meter have you can add those object to the code and read them without association view.

Something like this:

GXDLMSData d = new GXDLMSData("YOUR_OBIS_CODE");
Read(d, 2);
