We would like to read out the electricity meter Ensor eRS301 over an IR read head.
How do we find out what parameters we need to set in the device properties menu if we want to use the HDLC interface, like listed over here: https://www.gurux.fi//GXDLMSDirectorExample

E.g: Baud rate, Parity, Stop bits, Client address, Physical server, Logical server

We have read the Ensor meters with settings:

Interface: HdlcWithModeE
Server address: 255

The command line settings are:
-S YOUR_SERIAL_PORT -s 255 -t Verbose -i HdlcWithModeE

Hi,

You need to ask for the meter parameters from the meter vendor.
You can try with default Gurux settings to read the values without authentication.

You can try to search for the correct settings with HDLC Address resolver
