Gurux DLMS for Java

Hi.
I have seen that while reading invocation count, adding the GENERAL_PROTECTION as below.

dlms.getProposedConformance().add(Conformance.GENERAL_PROTECTION);

Due to this I was not able to read one meter manufactuer data(Getting invalid command) and to fix that I removed it in final block of invocation read.

finally {
........................
........................
dlms.getProposedConformance().remove(Conformance.GENERAL_PROTECTION);
}

Now Iam abl to read the data. But my doubt is will it affect other meters or this issue was related to the meter ?
And what is this GENERAL_PROTECTION ?

Hi,

Hi,

There is an issue with the meter. If the client asks conformance that the meter can't offer the meter should remove that conformance so the client is not using this.
