Hello, dear developer!

I want to try communicate with the electricity meter using Serial Port. An example in "Gurux.DLMS.Client.Example.Delphi" folder using TCP-connection.

I read "Introducing GXSerial" branch, but fond no information, that can be helpfull.

Please say, is any components and examples to test Gurux.DLMS component with serial port?

Hi Leo,

Because Embarcadero doesn't offer native support for serial port the Delhi version doesn't support Serial port communication at the moment.

Dear Mikko, thank you for the answer.

I made temporary program decision - "Ethernet to Serial Port converter". Test program connected to electricity meter without Authentication. But it does not want work with Authentication. I'll test further.

Good idea. :-)
If you are using authentication you need to change the client address, authentication level, and password.
