Hi Mikko,

I am reading Block load profile from IS15959-2 meter having TCP Interface.

Some time all entries were read successfully while sometimes getting an error as below :

"Invalid Block number. It is 3 and it should be 4."

Can you please provide an update on this

Hi,

You are receiving the same block twice from the meter. The reason is usually that client hasn't received the reply from the meter and asks again. Then the client receives a reply to the previous request. The client accepts it and asks for the next block, but the meter returns a reply for a retry message and now the block number is wrong. The simplest way to solve this is if you increase the timeout a little bit so the message can be received in a given time.

There are some complex reasons why the received message is not ignored if it's received twice. WIth WRAPPER it would be possible, but with other interface types (profiles) it's causing problems.

Hi Mikko,

For TCP media, I am using the Wrapper interface. Also, increase the response timeout, still facing the same
problem.

Can you please let me know how it would be possible with Wrapper, So I can try with that also?

Hi,

We are still testing a new version. One of our clients wanted some new features and we need to test that before we can release a new version. We try to release this as soon as possible. I hope in next week.
