Hi,

Has anyone got any general advice on how to talk to a CEWE Prometer using GXDLMSDirector?
It’s not listed as a meter in the dropdown menus.

Hi,

If the meter is CEWE Prometer 100 you can try to communicate with it using Gurux as a manufacturer.
Let me know if you have problems.

Hi Mikko,

It’s the old Cewe Prometer, not the Prometer 100 although I will be getting the new Prometer soon so thanks for the advice.

I'm trying to connect with GXDLMSDirector to promise 100, but I can't connect.
What parameters should I enter in Manufacturer, Address Type, Physical server?

Select Gurux as a manufacturer and try. Let me know if you have problems.

Yes, I have problems, I can't connect to meter.I need the configuration parameters, I have serial number, IP, port but I think I'm missing something to configure

Hi,

Select Gurux as a manufacturer and change Interface from HDLC to WRAPPER.
You can find this from the "Advanced" -tab.

Try first connect without authentication (Authentication = None).
