Dear All,

Does Gurux library have the function to construct APDU for Data Communication service? I saw there was similar topic asked years ago (https://www.gurux.fi/node/4528) but sadly the discussion didn't finish. I need to construct an APDU, with or without HDLC header, where this APDU will be forwarded to Meter from another machine.

Information of meter's manufacturer / model is not yet known for me.

Hi Mikko,

edit: Just checked the gateway class, it doesn't look like what we needed. In our project there is HES that will construct COSEM APDU packet. It will send the packet to another machine who will act as the Client.

Hi Nyoto,

I believe you need to make a server to another machine. Then this server will handle packet received from the client and do what is needed.

Check GuruxDLMSServerExample example to get more info.
