I am trying to read data from smart meter used for gas , i am able to connect it with using GPRS but i am not able to read specific data from meter.

Can you tell more from the meter? Is that DLMS meter or something else? Are you using a static IP address?

1. We are using GPRS connecrivity and Dynemic IP and PORT
2. This meter is designed by Italy Company "MeterSit"

Hi,
If you are using dynamic IP meter must always start a connection to the server.
You need to configure meter to make a connection to the server.
There is an "Auto connection" interface that allows you to do it.
If your meter is using Italian standard UNI/TS 11291-11 there should be no problem.

I have already connected meter with server using GPRS.
I can see meter is connected log. It show me message as below
Failed to receive reply from the device in given time.

Hi,
In that case, I believe that you are using the static IP address on your meter.
I believe that your client or server address is wrong if the meter is not returning any data.
You should ask them from the meter vendor.
