Dear Sir

we are using HPL (Indian Standard) PPEM24net Meter , we have few Question for information

How to Connect the RS232 serial to PC ?
GX director Setting for the above

we contacted the manufacture for password and they the password is 111111111111

Please help us

Hi,

You need to buy serial to USB converter. Then select "Indian standard" and you can read your meter.

i have brought the Serial to USB and connect the meter in Indian standards but we don't know the initial settings of GXDirector.

Error MSG : Failed to receive reply from the device in given time

Hi Sir,
I'm using HPL LT-CT Meter, TYPE: CT 05, -/5A and trying to connect the RS232 with the converter to read the values using GXDLMSDirector.

I've tried using Indian Standard, keeping all the settings as default, set serial with baud 9600 but couldn't make the meter connect to the software/

ERR: Failed to receive reply from the device in given time.

I've even changed the baud to 300,19200 etc but no response.

Could you help me with the communication of the meter with the software..

Please, create a new topic if you have a new question.

Problem is usually in the cable. If you have USB to serial converter you can't use other converters after that. Try to get a converter that you can use to connect directly to the meter.
