Hi

We have a Siemens IM100 DLMS COSEM meter from which we tried to fetch the objects present there. Fetched objects gave four different disconnect control objects. We tried to do connect/ disconnect etc operations with several of these objects and it is working for all of these objects. Why are there four different objects? Which one of these should we be using?

Thanks

Several Disconnect Control objects.

Hi,

Amount of disconnect control objects depends from the meter. In some meters, there are no releys at all and in some there are several. In your meter, there are four relays that you can operate.

So there is a different disconnect control for each relay.

Several Disconnect Control objects.

Thanks for your reply.

Is there a way to know for which of these objects when a disconnection call is made, the load connected to the meter gets disconnected and on a reconnect method call, the load gets connected?

Thanks

Several Disconnect Control objects.

Hi,

If you have access to the "Blue book", it's described on "4.5.8 Disconnect control (class_id = 70, version = 0)". Output state shows the actual physical state of the device that is connected the supply.

Yes, but I am getting

Yes, but I am getting disconnected "false" output on performing disconnect for only the object on which that operation was performed.
Following is a procedure I tried:-
1. Fetched output state for 0.0.96.3.10.255 object - Value comes out to be true.
2. Fetched output state for 0.2.96.3.10.255 object - Value comes out to be true.
3. Then made a disconnect call for 0.2.96.3.10.255 object.
4. Fetched output state for 0.0.96.3.10.255 object - Value still remains true
5. Fetched output state for 0.2.96.3.10.255 object - Value for this object comes out to be false.

So, even on firing disconnect control call on one of the object, the output state comes out to be different for different objects.

Thanks
