Hello

We are supposed to install an M-Bus heat/water meter in an electrical meter. And we need to add an encryption key to the electrical meter so that it can decrypt the data from the M-Bus meter. How can this be done with Gurux?

Installing M-Bus meter with encryption

Hi,

Gurux libraries (ANSI C, ANSI C++, C# Delphi and Java) are supporting GMAC security.
This is standard security in DLMS.

Following values must be set to add GMAC ciphering.

- Block ciphering key
- Authentication key
- Security level

BR,

Mikko

Hi

Hi

Yes, we are already using GMAC security against the master meter. But our question is how do we install an M-Bus meter below the master? And how do we tell the master what encryption keys to use against the M-Bus meter? We can see that you have an object called GXDLMSMBusClient in Gurux. Are we supposed to use that object in some way?
