Gurux DLMS for Java

Hi,

I'm new to using Gurux and I'm trying to understand how to properly use the parameters . Specifically, I'm wondering what values I need to add for the parameters and how to ensure that the values I'm using are valid.

For example, how would I interpret the value of -t INFO or -S Com1 or -R ln? I'm not sure what each one represents and how to properly use them.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

DLMS is quite a complicated protocol. If one of the parameters is wrong, the meter doesn't reply. I propose that you download GXDLMSDirector and play it with that to get a better understanding from the DLMS.

-t is trace level. It defines that traces are shown.
-s is a serial port. It defines the used serial port.
-r defines is the logical or short name used.

Mikko
