Trying to connect Landis+Gry E550 to Gurux but connection keep fail.
The message shown here is "Failed to receive reply from the device in given time".
Tried multiple time with small change in device properties but not working.
Are you trying to connect with the optical head or with a serial port? If you try to connect with an optical probe, change Interface from HDLC to HdlcWithModeE. Check your serial port settings. The baud rate is usually wrong if the meter doesn't reply.
Hi Kurumi,
I tried to connect with serial port, RS-232.
In the serial port Advanced setting, I set it as below,
Baud Rate - 9600
Data Bits - 7
Parity - Even
Stop Bits - One
Flow Control - None.
As the picture shown previously, did we need to tick the 'Use Maximum Baud Rate'?

Hi xy teoh,
Hi xy teoh,
If you are using RS-232 change values:
Data Bits: 8
Parity: None
Stop Bits: One
Then try with different baud rates. 7Even1 is used when you communicate with an optical probe.

Mikko
Hi Kurumi,
Hi Kurumi,
Managed to connect it now,
Thanks.
