Hi,

I am trying to run the GuruxDlmsClientExample.cpp from Visual Studio with parameters: -S COM3 -c 20 -s 1 -a Low -P "ABCD0001" -t Verbose. But when I run the .exe file I get the following message on the terminal:

The meter that I am using is Premier 300 (Indian Standard) with usb to rs232 converter. Also I have verified the working of the meter with GuruxDirector and work like a charm.
May I know where I am going wrong? Help is very much appreciated.

Hi,

It seems that USB converter can't send the data. It might be that your USB converter needs initialize command that is not sent at the moment. Can you send information from your USB converter so we can check this?

Hi,

May I know what kind of information are you looking for? Is it the Make and Model of the converter?
If so it is Advanced Technologies (ATC 810). Also it responded positively when I looped Rx and Tx and sent a test message from command prompt via com port (echo "msg" > COM5).

Hi,

Your USB converter is using FTDI chipset. We'll check this using same chipset.
