Hi ,
I am trying to get live data from secure meter sprint 350 to my remote server data base. In meter there is a RJ11 port is also available for communication . So can anyone help how can i get solution for this.Meter pic are attach in attachment.

Hi,

You can try to read this meter with GXDLMSDirector. Select "Indian standard" as manufacturer.
Then you need to set serial port settings and read meter. You can use Gurux.DLMS.Net, Gurux.DLMS.java or Gurux.DLMS.cpp to make your own app that sends data where you want to.

First of all thank you so much for your reply. I have tried to read data as per your suggestion by connecting meter with my laptop by cable (Pic : https://s13.postimg.org/whp4cj5d3/Secure_Meter_connection_cable.jpg) but not able to get data. So can please help me to get out from the issue.Is there any other way or issue is with that female to female cable(mentioned in pic) or any other reason.

Hi Mikko , I have been trying to fetch live data from secure meter as well and facing the same issue as vivek. I guess it has to be a cable issue. I am trying to procure other brand cable to see if that helps resolve the issue. Lets be patient :)

Hi,

Please, remove those loops from the cable. That might cause problems. Are you sure that your wiring is correct? I can say that it's very common that is not.

Hi Sarfaraj,

I don't know how your meter is configured, but you can try to start Start protocol from DLMS to IEC.
If the connection fails, let me know did you received any bytes from the meter.

I am also trying to read Sprint350.
It seems like serial port itself is not getting opened in my case. ioctl is not working.
Or
only sending from PC to meter is possible but no reply from meter.
If it is password protected what can be it's password?
Was the issue which Vivek has faced just a cable issue?
