Hi all,
I have a question.
I am studying how to sync clock on a meter and I stumbled upon this definition:
"The Deviation and the Clock Status may be defined or may be left undefined:"
Case A:deviaition not specified, clock status not specified
CAse B: deviation not specified, clock status with DST set to 80 or 00
CAse C: deviation is set to deviation from local time to UTC, clock status with DST bit 00.
My question are:
1.When we want to sync meter date, meter has to support all 3 methods?
2,. What is the differenze between solution B ad solution C
3. when we read a meter clock meter has to answer in only one way ,but which of 3 is correct?
Thanks in advances for help

Hi, This depends on the…

Hi,

This depends on the meter. The meter defines the deviation and/or clock status used. You USUALLY need to write the deviation clock status in the same format that the meter uses when you read them.

I have to say that there are so many meter implementations from deviation and Daylight Saving Time that I can't give one simple answer to your questions.

BR,
Mikko
