General discussion

I connected a Secure Apex 200 (similar to CEWE Prometer 100) DLMS Director with a low authentication option. Then I obtained the association view and noticed that OBIS codes related to TOU energy, historical, and maximum demand are missing in the association view.

I get the following error when I try to read an OBIS code like 1.0.2.8.1.255 via Gurux.DLMS.Client.Example.Net.

Gurux.DLMS.GXDLMSException: Access Error : Device reports a undefined object.

The settings I used are shown below. (also in the attached image)

-h 10.54.15.250 -p 4059 -c 32 -a Low -P ABCD0001 -w 1 -f 128 -t Verbose

Any help in this regard is highly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi, Object with OBIS code 1…

Hi,

Object with OBIS code 1.0.2.8.1.255 is not available in the connected association. It might be that your meter doesn't implement that feature or you need to connect with High authentication to access that object.

You see all available objects when you connect with GXDLMSDirector on the left side. Available objects might depend on the authentication level.

Thank you for the kind reply…

Thank you for the kind reply.

I later discovered that Meter's reading software (M-Cubed) uses Client address 0X18 and Password ABCD0002 for reading meter. Software can read any parameter from meter.

I tried this client with Gurux, but ended up with no success. Any thoughts on this ?
