I'm reading your code to understand the whole process. I see you use ATD to call the number, but I'm not getting what you do after that

For example:
If I use Hyperterminal and i Write
AT&C1E0V0
and
ATDnumber

After that I get a simple "CONNECT 9600" and i cannot do any other operation

Are you implemeting another standard to send data via gsm data call ? ( I mean something between ATD and the meter protocol )

How do you send data?

Hi,

When you use terminal media it's like serial port or TCP/IP media. It's used to send raw data. If you want to talk with some device you need to send messages that device understand. If you want to talk with DLMS meters, you use our DMLS component to generate protocol messages.

When you get "CONNECT 9600" message it means that you have successfully established connection to the meter. Now you need to send right commands to talk with the meter.

How do you send data?

Hi,

Command depend from the protocol. Each protocol is like a language and different manufacturers are using different protocols. There is no one global protocol for all the meters.

Mikko
