I have been trying for more than a week now to get GuruX Java to work with my meter. I have the correct authentication details and have tested that profile in GuruDirector which seems to work perfectly.

I then took those same parameters over and tried running it through GuruX Java library however I am getting a `PERMANENT_REJECT` error.

I'm very lost as to what it could be, any help would be appreciated.

(I have attached all the configs as images and the code being used).

I'm currently using the GuruX Java library through Maven but struggling to find through which package in the latest version the `GXDLMSReader` is stored in - is this type even available anymore?

Currently using the Java Gurux library in order to connect over optical serial to the Clou CL710K22. Firstly, the GDLMSDirector was used in order to confirm the device was in working order and I was able to successfully connect to it.

The correct authentication details have been set as I can confirm the connetion is successful:

1. Client system title is set correctly
2. Block cipher key is set correctly
3. Dedicated key is set correctly
4. Server System title is not set
5. Authentication key is set correctly

I hope the holidays went well. I was implementing a client application and I don't want my client to timeout because of the meter's timeout time setted. So what I am trying is sending a keepalive message to the meter before it times out and closes the connection.

But when I do that without making any modifications to gurux.dlms package, only by calling the keepAlive method in the GXDLMSClient class, it throws an exception and just closes the connection and I can not send a message after that.

Hope you're doing fine. I am facing a gurux exception while trying to reconnect to a meter I was already connected to using a serial port. I am using the latest version of gurux.dlms package, I updated it recently, I haven't faced this kind of issue while I was using the older version.

I saw this kind of topic in the forum and I also tried the fix you recommended but my meter doesn't have invocation counter object and also the ciphering security is none for the time being, so that fix didn't help.
