Can Any one suggest me how to connect from client (in my case pc) to server(meter) through serial port optical probe.
Am trying to explain how I m approaching
using
Windows 10
Visual studio2017
step1:- Download src from gurux.dlms.cpp
step2:- As per Readme file suggest the src is changes and compiling is fine.
step3:- it is generating .exe file - GuruxDLMSCilentExample.exe
step4:- When run through cmd it gets hang - (Refer attached screen short)
step5:- I walkthrough the code and found there is no definition for -S in GuruxDLMSCilentExample.cpp - this is one of my assumption only.
Please help me if anything am doing wrong.
Note:- Meter which trying to connect is already DLMS Certified meter.

What is your meter manufacturer? Can you try to read your meter with GXDLMSDirector first?
