Hi,
I am trying to read L&T meter using Gurux Java library. I am able to read all the values except load survey.
While reading i am getting the below error.

readRowsByEntry = Error! Failed to read first row: Access Error : Device reports Read-Write denied.
readRowsByRange = Error! Failed to read last dayAccess Error : Device reports Read-Write denied.

What might be the problem for this type of error ?
How to fix this ?

Hi,

Indian meters are using Profile Generics as a profile. Idea is read those profiles with
normal read method. Meters usually do not support readbyRange or readByEntry methods.

Is it possible with Gurux Java libaray ?
Can you explain me how to do it ? Which method should I use and what are the parameters should be passed ?
Can you send me a sample part of code ?

Check this from example client, but idea is here:

GXDLMSProfileGeneric pg = new GXDLMSProfileGeneric("Change OBIS code");
comm.read(pg, 2);
