Hi,
I'm working on a gprs energy meter system, i saw the code for dlms listener on github and i can and also went through the article on gurux website. I've one question that how can meter initiate connection and if meter initiates connection then why do we provide ip and port in the listener.

You don't need to provide TCP/IP address for the listener.
You need to provide the TCP/IP port where the listener waits for connections from the meters. Port and IP address can be configured to anything using auto connect object.
List of destination addresses (or phone numbers with terminal connections) is set in auto connect object.
