Gurux DLMS for Java

Hello everyone...
I hope you guys are still fine in the middle of this pandemic. Bless you.

I have a problem when trying to read and write activity calendar object.

this is the code that I have been written using gurux.dlms.java version 4.0.4.

GXDLMSObject dLMSObject = dlms.getObjects().findByLN(ObjectType.ACTIVITY_CALENDAR, "0.0.13.0.0.255");
for (int pos : ((IGXDLMSBase) dLMSObject).getAttributeIndexToRead(true)) {
try {
read(dLMSObject, pos);
} catch (Exception ex) {
logger.log(Level.SEVERE, PrintUtil.FAIL_READING_INDEX_LOG, new Object[]{pos, ex.toString()});
}
}

I get the same value as GXDLMSDirector for 1st until 9th attribute, but when at 10th attribute, I think I don't get the right value, cause it's just showing "Index: 10 Value: 0.0.13.0.0.255 Ch. 0 Activity calendar #1". Also, I think I do not yet get any suitable method for 10th attribute at GXDLMSActivityCalendar class.

how can I read and write the 10th attribute of the activity calendar object (activate_passive_calendar_time)?. can you give me an example?

Thanks,
Best regards,
Abdul Hakam

it's ok Mikko. I just didn't

it's ok Mikko. I just didn't expect that getTime method and setTime method at GXDLMSActivityCalendar class is referring to 10th attribute of activity calendar COSEM interface class (activate_passive_calendar_time). I think its gonna be setActivatePassiveCalendarTime. :)

Hi Abdul Hakam,

Hi Abdul Hakam,

Thank you for this info. I need to think should this method renamed to ActivatePassiveCalendarTime. Time is a quite generic name.

Mikko

Hi, Mikko

Hi, Mikko

I am truly happy if my info can help. and it makes me proud if I can contribute even though it is very small and only in the form of a method name. I can't think more to be able to repay all the kindness that you give in the Gurux library. I hope I can contribute even more in the future to repay your kindness. I really admire your work.

Best regards

Can you share how you accomplished write to meter? I seem to be stuck at the same junction and am unable to figure it out.

Thanks and Regards,
Mithun.
