Introducing Gurux DLMS/COSEM for Java Micro Edition
Gurux DLMS/COSEM for Java Micro Edition is a protocol component, whose purpose is to offer an easy-to-use component for Java ME developers, to communicate with energy measuring devices.
With this component, you can easily create your own data collecting systems, to build an Automatic Meter Reading system (AMR), to meet your specific needs.
If You have any questions, problems, or suggestions, concerning Gurux DLMS/COSEM for Java ME, kindly, post a message at the forum.
Hey guys, I'm relatively new here. I'm looking for resources to help me get started in building my AMR solution in java. I will appreciate any link to useful resources to help me integrate to gurux dlms library
I have to warn you that DLMS is not an easy protocol and it might take some time to get started.
I suggest that you install GXDLMSDirector and play with it first.

Hi Joel,
Hi Joel,
You should check the client example from GitHub.
https://github.com/Gurux/gurux.dlms.java
Another option is that you use the REST API and use Gurux.DLMS.AMI.
www.gurux.fi/Gurux.DLMS.AMI
I believe that Gurux.DLMS.AMI can be good option for you if you don't know meter reading very well.

Mikko
