i am trying to read clock of dlms meter over serial port in c#. but i am pretty new to this, and don't find any proper way to work. please share me sample code to read clock (refered Gurux.dlms library and developed basic code but it is not working- code given below). serial port setting(baud rate, comport) done. thanks

Recently we got our Smart Gas Meter tested in CTT 4.3 release 103 for certification. In the test "Read logical_name' of an instance Id 0.0.42.0.0.255 returns "Exception Response" in PC mode.

Recently, we have our Gas Meter tested for DLMS Conformance Test. The Meter failed the test T_HDLC_ADDRESS_P1. The verdict states in the report, "Element 'Server Lower Mac Address' missing.".
My question is, Where to define MAC address while using Serial communication ?

I am currently working on Gas-meter and using Gurux ANSI-C library to make the meter compatible to DLMS protocol.
In our application, it needs to be 12-digit serial number.
Now, if I want to connect the meter using SERIAL NUMBER, is it possible (as it doesn't fit in int32 range)?
If it does, then what should be the formula?

Hi, I'm trying to make requests at the maximum speed that the bus allows me using the python library. At first I saw that it took 1.5 seconds to make 7 data requests when in other applications each request was resolved in 15 ms. I discovered that there was a time.sleep(0.1) in the _readThread function and when I removed it I went down to 300 ms. But I would like to go down more. Can you give me any more recommendations to increase speed? Thank you.

Please tell me how I can determine the transmission direction in the GXSerial.OnTrace() method. Is the data being received or sent? To display the correct color in a multiline text field.
