Hi,
I have an Iskra ME372 that I am testing with GuruxDLMS / Net. I can read values from the meter with GET, and I can write values back to the meter with SET. I am very impressed with this.
I would like to set the clock in the meter from my code, via GuruxDLMS/Net. I believe I need to call some of the methods in the Clock class (OBIS 0.0.1.0.0.255, interface class 8). The Blue Book tells me there are 6 methods on this class for adjusting the time.
But I cannot find a way to call any Clock method via GuruxDLMS/Net. I have browsed the code in GXCOSEM.cpp (23-Jun-2011) and from reading this I believe GuruxDLMS does not support calling methods. Is this correct?
Am I missing something? Should I use a different way to set the clock?
at the moment GuruxDLMS component supports only attribute related (read/write) actions, but does not support method related actions. The support will be added, when a paying customer needs it, or if we get more feedback from our community that it is needed.
Class GXCOSEM includes a write method for writing information to the device. You can use that to set the device clock.
