I create a new device and fill in the info : see image attached. I had unplugged the serial interface this is why it doesn't show, but I had it set to 2400bd, 8 data bits, no parity and one stop bit.
When I try ton connect I get an error shown in the following log file :
GXDLMSDirector 8.1.1904.0201
Log created 17:03:03

à GXDLMSDirector.GXDLMSDevice.InitializeConnection()
à GXDLMSDirector.MainForm.Connect(Object sender, GXAsyncWork work, Object[] parameters)

Any ideas as to why this happens? When I used a serial sniffer, I figured those weird characters were simply some badly interpreted data. By the way you can see the serial numbers in that string.
GXDLMXDirector is using DLMS protocol. Your HW is M-BUS module slave. You can read your meter, but need to connect using optical head or RS-232 interface.
