I have used Gurux GXDLMSDirection version 8.1.1807. My meter used Texas Instrument DLMS library.
We have some question about authentication security and transport security that supported by GXDLMSDirector.
1. Is the GXDLMSDirector support authentication algorithm AES-128 (mechanism_id = 2) ?
if it supported, please give us the settings of GXDLMSDirector to run the authentication algorithm
2. Is the GXDLMSDirector support authentication algorithm HLS GMAC (mechanism_id = 5) ?
if it supported, please give us the settings of GXDLMSDirector to run the authentication algorithm
3. Is the GXDLMSDirector director support transport security algorithm GCM ?
if it supported, please give us the settings of GXDLMSDirector to run transport security algorithm
GXDLMSDirector and Gurux DLMS versions support AES-128 and GMAC. GCM (public/private keys) is supported only in java version.
Select Authentication level in device settings and change it to High or HighGMAC. I just notest that HighGMAC is not in Texas settings. If that is now supported, we'll add it. In the meantime, you can use Gurux as a manufacturer and try with that. If you are using GMAC, you need to set Authentication Key, system title and Block Cipher Key in "Secured connections" tab.
