Hello,

I am trying to read data from ACE6000, but still no success.

It would be very helpful if you add more initial settings and some explanations of common problems/cases while connecting to meters.

For example:

Initial settings for Actaris SL7000:
- Auth:none, Client id:10, Physical server:11, Logical:0
- Auth:Low, Client id:1, Physical server:11, Logical:1

Default password for Low Authentication is "ABCDEFGH"

1. Should these settings work with ACE6000?
2. Where can I find these default servers and client id for ACE6000? Contact Actaris(very slow)? User manual?
3. Cannot find any client id field in AIMS Pro demo, is it Gurux specific parameter or why is it required?
4. What is the default port for Actraris meters? 703 ?

5. "No connection could be made because target machine actively refused it" - what may cause this error? Wrong meter configuration or wrong connections settings?

I can see a meter in my subnet with ip 192.168.10.0, but cannot connect to any port (703 also) - it always throws the same error "target machine actively refused it"

However, if I try to connect with telnet it will ask a login and password for uClinux(should I know these login and password?)

Such info would be very helpful for new guys like me. Will post the results when I succeed.

Problem almost solved. ACE6000 was misconfigured.

Mini help for new guys:

1. configure meter via ACE Pilot:
- Communication type = HDLC
- Communication baudrate = 19200
2. configure Ethernet modem via DeviceManagerActaris tool:
- Run and search for devices
- Right click on device - > Broadcast configuration
- tick DHCP, tick Tunneling and set Tunneling port to 703,
Serial baud rate 19200, DTR Control - disabled and "Send Broadcast"

Done.

Now I am able to connect to meter via GXDLMSDirector:

Start protocol: DLMS
Authentication: Low
Password:ABCDEFGH

Client address:1
Physical server:11
Logical server:1

Host: meter ip
Port:703

Hello,
I want to read data from ACESL7000 meter in Low Authentication mode with "ABCDEFGH" password after that I connect to the meter, but when I read it the following error disappears:
Access Error: Device reports scope of access violated.

Initial settings for Actaris SL7000:
-Start Protocol : DLMS
- Media : Serial
- Authentication : Low
- Password : ABCDEFGH
- Client Address : 1
- Physical Server : 11
- Logical Server : 1
Please, guide me how I can solve this problem.

Hi,

Can you send your log file to me. You will find it under tools menu.
We will check this.

7000 returns some strange values sometimes and we must handle them separetly.

hello friends, my name is imed i am from algeria, i work for the national gaz company in algeria ( sonelgaz) and we use acepilot 3.9 by itron to configure the sl7000 and others meters and recently i had problems with my laptop pc and lost all the software, i managed to download acepilot 3.9 but i can not find a license to activate it or a serial key plz can anyone help me bcz i am arriving to the end of the 60 days of trial plz plz if anyone can help me thx and sorry for my medium english.

Hi,

You should ask this from the Itron. We are given support for Gurux DLMS softwares and we do not have this info.

Hi,

What I have noticed is that Gurux DLMS Director doesn't let you change Physical Address, it is fixed to 17.

So if you have access via AIMS Pro or some other device, you can try to set the physical address first to 17 and then thy connecting.

Hi,

The physical address is defined on the meter and it can't change to the meter. You can change client's (GXDLMSDirecor) physical address from the settings dialog.

Hello, I have now installed by a company an Itron SL7000 and a modem itron also, i have put the card phone in modem, can connect to card but cant read the modem and so the data... could anyone help please?
